Yes, we are transiting! The world is changing and so are we! We want to start promoting eco-friendly accommodations as much as we can, as we are traveling! Yes, being sustainable is also giving your preference to small businesses that work with local people and here is one of our favorites: Urgestein Ferien. We just discovered Jessicas’s place in a little authentic village named Stans, in Tyrol (Austria) and we just love it !!!!
Jessica and Martin, her husband, have created a wonderful place. 2 beautiful apartments in the main building and 3 houses facing it ! And in the middle : a gorgeous natural pool !
Jessica makes sure that everything is spotless clean, decorated with a lot of taste and perfectly equipped. She is always ready to help and answer all questions. She is also pleasant and speaks very good English.
Each unit is special. We stayed in Haus Granit that can accommodate up to 6 persons with 3 bedrooms. It has a very nice terrace with a whirlpool and a direct access to the natural pool.
Then we experienced the apartment Gneis and we loved it ! It’s so authentic ! Jessica and Martin hired a professional artist to do all the wood work and the result is amazing. A big plus in this 2-bedroom apartment is the steam room/ shower. It’s like a real hammam and feels really good after a day out hiking or skiing !
We will be back !
